SeemDistro provides tools for managing multiple artists, projects, or labels under a single account. This guide explains how to set up and efficiently manage multiple artist profiles.

Multi-Artist Management

This option allows you to manage multiple distinct artists under one account:

• Single login for all artist profiles
• Separate artist pages and metadata
• Individual analytics for each artist
• Centralized royalty collection with optional splitting
• Unified billing under a single subscription

• Professional Plan: Up to 3 artist profiles
• Label Plan: Unlimited artist profiles

Adding a New Artist Profile

1. Access Artist Management

• Log in to your SeemDistro dashboard
• Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
• Select "Artist Management"

2. Create New Artist

• Click "Add New Artist"
• Enter the artist name
• Select the profile type:
• Solo Artist
• Band/Group
• DJ/Producer
• Alias/Side Project

3. Complete Basic Information

• Upload profile photo (minimum 500x500 pixels)
• Select primary genre and subgenres
• Add biography (up to 1000 characters)
• Enter social media links

4. Set Distribution Preferences

• Default release preferences
• Platform selection defaults
• Territory restrictions (if any)
• Language preferences

5. Finalize Setup

• Click "Create Artist Profile"

• Your new artist will appear in your dashboard dropdown

Using the Artist Selector

• Click the artist selector dropdown in the top navigation bar
• Select the artist profile you wish to manage
• The dashboard will refresh with that artist's specific data

• Use keyboard shortcuts (Alt+A then number) to switch between artists
• Pin frequently accessed artists to the top of your list
• Create custom views that combine data from multiple artists

Creating New Releases

1. Select the appropriate artist profile first
2. Follow the standard release creation process
3. The release will be associated with the active artist profile

Release Calendar

Q: Can I transfer a release from one artist profile to another? A: No, releases are permanently tied to the artist profile they were created under. You would need to create a new release under the correct artist.

Q: Is there an additional cost for adding artist profiles? A: Professional Plan includes up to 3 artist profiles at no extra cost. Label Plan includes unlimited profiles. Additional profiles on Professional Plan cost $5/month each.

Q: Can each artist have different payment information? A: Yes, on the Label Plan you can set up separate payment methods for each artist. On Professional Plan, royalties go to the primary account but can be split using our royalty splitting tools.

Q: How do streaming platforms see multiple artists from one account? A: Each artist appears completely separate on streaming platforms. There is no connection visible to the public or to the platforms themselves.

Q: Can different team members have access to specific artists only? A: Yes, you can grant team members access to only the artists you specify, with customized permission levels for each.
